Marketing and Communications Officer
Walk the Plank seeks a brilliant Marketing & Communications Officer to support the development and implementation of the company’s sales and marketing strategy.
Our marketing and communications department plays a key role in promoting what we do to potential clients, engaging participants and working collaboratively with clients to promote our work to audiences. We are looking for a highly competent marketing professional to make an impact in this fast-paced role, which sits at the heart of our team, and which will draw upon a range of skills across the full marketing mix.

Responsibilities
- Work as part of the Marketing Team alongside the Head of Marketing to plan and deliver the company’s core new business, marketing and communications functions in an efficient and effective way.
- Support the development and implementation of the company’s sales and marketing strategy.
- Act as the central point of information for all staff who play a role in selling and promoting the company’s work.
- Liaise with promoters as necessary and proactively ensure all leads are followed through.
- Ensure a healthy pipeline of new work and prospects while managing relationships with existing clients.
- Work across a range of different projects simultaneously, taking an agile approach and collaborating with freelance staff as required.
- Be willing to travel to selected shows and events in the UK which may include evening and weekend working. In some instances, there may be a requirement to travel abroad — you must hold a valid passport. A driving licence is not essential but desirable.
