Volunteering Project Lead
About the Role
This is an exciting fixed term opportunity for an experienced volunteering professional and/or project coordinator to lead the implementation of high-profile initiatives, building experience in project management, volunteer engagement, operational planning and programme development within a world-leading museum.
The Volunteering Project Lead will lead the planning, co-ordination and delivery of innovative volunteering projects at V&A South Kensington between October 2026 and January 2027.
They will be responsible for developing, trialling and evaluating new volunteering initiatives focused on enhancing visitor experience. The role will establish operational procedures and ensure volunteering initiatives are successfully delivered embedded within agreed timelines.
The role will lead on the recruitment, on-boarding and training of volunteers, as well as developing operational frameworks and resources to support the effective delivery of volunteer-led activities.
